West Ham cancel Ravel Morrison contract

West Ham let Morrison go

West Ham United have announced that they have reached an agreement with Ravel Morrison to cancel his contract.

The 22-year-old midfielder joined the Hammers in January 2012 after a two-year stint at Manchester United, going on to make 24 appearances in three years.

However, a series of disciplinary issues saw him sent out on loan to Championship clubs Birmingham City, Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City.

He is now free to find a new club, with Italian capital outfit Lazio said to be interested in his services.
