Report: West Ham United want Javi Fuego

A report claims that West Ham United want to sign Valencia midfielder Javi Fuego.

West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Valencia midfielder Javi Fuego in the January transfer window.

The 30-year-old, who joined Los Che from Rayo Vallecano in 2013, has been a key contributor to his side's strong start to the season.

However, according to Marca, West Ham have been made aware that the Spaniard would be available for the correct price as Valencia prepare a spending spree in the next transfer window.

The same report claims that the Hammers have sent scouts to watch the experienced campaigner in recent weeks.

Fuego started his professional career at Sporting Gijon.
