Report: West Ham United eye Morgan Amalfitano swoop

West Ham United are believed to be weighing up a bid for Marseille midfielder Morgan Amalfitano.

The 28-year-old has already been linked with a move to Fulham this summer, but the East Londoners have reportedly entered the race for his signature.

According to talkSPORT, Hammers boss Sam Allardyce sees the once-capped French international as an ideal addition to his midfield following the departure of Gary O'Neil.

However, it is though that Amalfitano, who moved to the Stade Velodrome from Lorient two years ago, is close to agreeing a loan move to Greek side Olympiacos.
