Malmo's Jiloan Hamad claims West Ham United interest

Malmo midfielder Jiloan Hamad has claimed that West Ham United are in contact with his representatives over a deal to secure a move to Upton Park.

The 22-year-old has been previously linked to the East London club and now it looks as if the move may be gathering pace.

"My agents have talked to West Ham," Kvaellsposten quotes Hamad as saying. "We need to reach an agreement with them and they have to reach an agreement with Malmo."

If Hamad were to join the Hammers, he would become their fifth summer signing.
