Besiktas to open talks with Hernandez?

Besiktas have reportedly taken steps to sign West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez.

The Mexico international has struggled for regular game time under manager David Moyes and has only managed to score four goals in 17 appearances.

According to Turkish-Football, Besiktas have sent an official to London to begin talks over a deal as they try to secure a replacement for Cenk Tosun, who recently joined Everton.

The report claims that the Turkish outfit's offer of first-team football and Champions League action will be enough to persuade the former Manchester United hitman to leave West Ham.

Hernandez only moved to the London Stadium six months ago when he signed for a reported £16m fee from Bayer Leverkusen.
