Sam Allardyce: 'Winston Reid still not committing to West Ham United'

Allardyce: 'Reid still not committing'

West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has revealed that Winston Reid is still refusing to commit his future to the club.

The New Zealand international defender, who is out of contract this summer, has been offered a new deal by the Hammers.

Recent reports have suggested that the 26-year-old has decided to stay at Upton Park.

However, Allardyce has admitted that he remains unsure whether Reid will be a West Ham player next season.

"Winston has an exceptionally good offer on the table, but he won't make a decision to reject it and say, 'no I am not staying' or 'yes, I will take it and I will stay'. We cannot get a decision out of him," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

Reid joined West Ham from Danish side Midtjylland in 2010.
