West Ham United sack manager Slaven Bilic?

Slaven Bilic is reportedly sacked from his position as West Ham United manager.

West Ham United have sacked manager Slaven Bilic, according to reports.

The London club has wielded the axe after Saturday's 4-1 defeat to Liverpool left them languishing inside the bottom three of the Premier League, according to The Sun.

Although the Hammers are yet to officially confirm the 49-year-old's dismissal, last season's 11th-place finish coupled with a lacklustre start to the current campaign cast his job into uncertainty.

According to sports journalist Mootaz Chehade's Twitter account, David Moyes is the favourite to succeed the Croatian in the West Ham hotseat, with Phil Neville among his backroom staff.

Bilic took charge at West Ham in June 2015, taking over from Sam Allardyce, and he guided the Hammers to a seventh-place finish in his first season at the helm.
