Mark Noble aiming for six points over Christmas

Mark Noble claims that West Ham need to win two of their three Premier League fixtures over Christmas.

West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble has claimed that the team need to win two of their three Premier League fixtures over Christmas.

The Hammers head into the busy festive period one point above the relegation zone following three defeats in their last four matches.

Noble believes that six points over the next week should give the players a boost before the New Year.

"We just need to keep working hard, not let defeats demoralise us, and look forward to the next game," he told the club's official website.

"Six points out of nine over Christmas would be fantastic and that is our aim. Anything less than that would be undercutting ourselves massively because we need to beat West Brom and we need to beat Fulham."

West Ham resume their Premier League campaign on Boxing Day when they welcome Arsenal to Upton Park.
