West Ham United midfielder Kevin Nolan is hoping that the club add some more signings to the squad before the end of the transfer window.
The 30-year-old scored the only goal of the game as the Hammers marked their return to the Premier League with a 1-0 win over Aston Villa at Upton Park.
Despite the win, Nolan is adamant that the Londoners need to improve their squad before the end of the month.
"It's going to be tough – we know that - but we're well up for the battle," Nolan told talkSPORT.
"We've recruited in the summer and we know that is going to be good for us.
"Hopefully we'll see a couple more new faces before the end of the window, which is going to make us better and stronger and get us over that line coming to the end of the season and make sure that we're in the Premier League next season."
Next up for West Ham is Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
