Mark Noble praises West Ham United's fighting spirit after win over Queens Park Rangers

Noble delighted with hard-fought win

West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble has praised his side's desire after they held on to beat Queens Park Rangers 2-1 in a tense finish at Loftus Road.

Matt Jarvis and Ricardo Vaz Te were on the scoresheet to send the Hammers up to seventh in the Premier League table.

"I thought the team's performance in the first half, the way we kept the ball, the way we passed it allowed us to cause them problems," Noble told Sky Sports News.

"The second half was going to a fight and a battle and obviously them having a man sent off made it that little bit easier in the end.

"If it wasn't for a lack of finishing on our behalf we could've won it by a couple more. We controlled the game."

Sam Allardyce's side are now unbeaten in five league matches and could go as high as second with a victory in their next match against Arsenal this weekend.
