Jack Collison hoping to prove himself at Bournemouth

West Ham midfielder Jack Collison believes that his loan switch to Bournemouth gives him the chance to prove himself to manager Sam Allardyce.

West Ham United midfielder Jack Collison has claimed that his loan move to Bournemouth is a good chance to prove himself to manager Sam Allardyce.

The 25-year-old Welsh international signed a one-month deal with the Championship club on Tuesday.

"It's a fantastic club, which is on the up, and hopefully I can help them and they can help me," Collison told West Ham's official website.

"I haven't been involved as much as I would have liked [this season], so it's a good opportunity for me to come here and show what I can do."

Collison penned his first professional contract with West Ham in 2007 following a two-year spell in the club's youth academy.
