West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has revealed that he has started to make plans for pre-season despite the uncertainty surrounding his position at the club.
Reports have suggested that Allardyce will depart Upton Park at the conclusion of his current deal which expires at the end of the season, but despite doubts over his future, the former Bolton Wanderers chief has insisted that he must continue to fulfil all parts of his job.
The 60-year-old told reporters: "We sat down yesterday and began to plan for next season, when we're coming back for pre-season, where we're going to go and who we're going to play. It's not fully evolved yet but the plans are in place.
"I don't know if I will be here, but when you are contracted to a club, you do the job that you're paid to do, and one of those roles is to plan for next season."
West Ham currently sit in ninth position in the Premier League table.
