West Ham United are among four bidders that are being considered for future tenancy of the Olympic Stadium in Stratford.
The Hammers were in the running during the first bidding process last year.
However, a series of legal matters saw the process abandoned until this summer.
League One side Leyton Orient have also registered their interest in making the facility their home ground.
The two football clubs will face competition from two businesses for the property. Intellgant Transport services have submitted a joint bid with Formula 1, while the UCFB College of Football Business are also keen to claim the keys to the premises.
All of the proposals will be considered by the Legacy Committee, who will make their decision later this year.
