Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how West Ham United could line up for the first leg of their Europa League semi-final against Eintracht Frankfurt.

David Moyes is set to make multiple changes to his West Ham United starting lineup for Thursday's Europa League fixture with Eintracht Frankfurt.

In preparation for the first leg of their semi-final tie at the London Stadium, Moyes made the decision to rotate his team for the Premier League showdown at Chelsea over the weekend.

With the likes of Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen only being introduced after the hour mark, West Ham subsequently succumbed to a 1-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge.

However, the pair, along with Michail Antonio who remained as an unused substitute, will be fresh to return to their respective positions.

Mark Noble, Said Benrahma and Andriy Yarmolenko are expected to be the players who drop out of the team, and that could prove to be the only three outfield alterations.

With Angelo Ogbonna, Kurt Zouma and Issa Diop all sidelined through injury, Moyes's options in defence are limited, and the relative success of the makeshift back three versus Chelsea should see that unit keep their places.

Ben Johnson and Aaron Cresswell are in line to play either side of Craig Dawson, with Vladimir Coufal and Arthur Masuaku featuring in the wing-back roles.

Second-choice goalkeeper Alphonse Areola will also get the nod between the sticks ahead of Lukasz Fabianski.

West Ham possible starting lineup: Areola; Johnson, Dawson, Cresswell; Coufal, Soucek, Rice, Masuaku; Fornals, Bowen; Antonio
