Jose Enrique: 'I had no offer from West Bromwich Albion'

Liverpool defender Jose Enrique has revealed that he did not receive any offer from West Bromwich Albion before the transfer window closed.

The Baggies were linked with a move for the 29-year-old left-back, who has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield.

Enrique has said that any interest from the Baggies did not materialise on the final day of the window.

"Just to let you all know that it wasn't any offer from West Brom for me. I'm happy to stay and fight for my place," he wrote on Twitter.

Enrique joined Liverpool from Newcastle United in 2011.
