West Bromwich Albion 'keen on Benik Afobe deal'

Baggies 'keen on Afobe deal'

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly considering a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Benik Afobe.

Afobe joined Wolves from Arsenal in January, but is already believed to be catching the eye of Premier League clubs after scoring 32 goals this season.

According to the Daily Mail, Baggies boss Tony Pulis is keen to bolster his options in attack, but Wolves are expected to demand a substantial profit on the £2m they paid the Gunners.

Meanwhile, it is reported that Wanderers teammate Bakary Sako has possibly priced himself out of a move to The Hawthorns, due to high wage demands.

The Mali international has revealed that both Albion and Aston Villa are interested in his services, but it is thought that the request for £50,000 a week may have put the Baggies off.
