West Bromwich Albion boss Pepe Mel sets points target

West Bromwich Albion head coach Pepe Mel believes that four points should be enough to secure his side's Premier League status this season.

West Bromwich Albion head coach Pepe Mel has said that four more points could be enough to keep his side in the Premier League this season.

The Baggies currently sit 16th in the table on 33 points after their 3-3 draw with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

"The biggest job now that the technical team has is to lift the players," Clubcall.com quotes Mel as saying.

"If we keep doing things in the vain we have then things will go for us. We've won two and drawn two of the last five games.

"I'd love to know how many points we'll need, as the table changes on a weekly basis. We feel we need four more points."

West Brom travel to Manchester City on Monday.
