Good afternoon and welcome to Sports Mole's live text coverage of the Premier League meeting between West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City. This promises to be a fiery relegation clash, with Leicester fighting for their lives at the bottom of the table and the hosts just seven points clear of the drop zone ahead of kickoff.

WEST BROM XI: Myhill, Dawson, Brunt, Yacob, McAuley, Lescott, Morrison, Gardner, Berahino, Ideye, Fletcher

Baggies boss Tony Pulis has made a change at the back, drafting in Craig Dawson following his return from suspension. Chris Baird drops to the bench along with Stephane Sessegnon, who is replaced in the midfield by Claudio Yacob.

Also among the West Brom substitutes is Callum McManaman, who is returning to fitness from an ankle injury. Leicester lineup to follow...

Just the one change for the Foxes as Riyad Mahrez makes way for Marc Albrighton. Regarding that swap, Foxes boss Nigel Pearson has admitted that he was tempted to stick with the same XI that defeated West Ham United last time out...

Leicester looked dead and buried at one point, destined for an immediate return to the Championship, but last weekend's victory over West Ham has given them a fighting chance at avoiding the drop, moving them within six points of safety.

The win against the Hammers ended a run of six defeats in eight games, although only one of those reverses was by more than a single-goal margin. Their goalscoring record is also fairly positive at 29, which isn't going to win them any trophies, but it's more than the likes of Aston Villa and Sunderland above them.

However, they are known to ship goals, keeping just five clean sheets all season, and their away form is what has seen them plummet to the foot of the table. They've won just twice on the road this term and lost 12 times.

West Brom have proven they are no pushovers under Pulis, but last weekend's 4-1 thrashing at the hands of relegation rivals Queens Park Rangers will no doubt have rattled them. With that being their third defeat in a row, that seven-point buffer separating them from the drop zone is looking tenuous.

Scoring goals has been the Baggies' biggest problem as they have netted just four times in their last six games. Their tally for the season stands at 28, one less than today's opponents!

However, like any Pulis side, they are strong at the back, keeping 12 clean sheets so far. Only Chelsea and Southampton can claim a better record than that.

Unfortunately for them, they are not quite as disciplined as this figure suggests. West Brom have finished their last two games with 10 men, Youssuf Mulumbu being the man to receive his marching orders against QPR for a foul on Joey Barton.

Today marks a special day for West Brom as they are paying tribute to club legend Jeff Astle. The players will be wearing a replicate kit from the 1968 FA Cup final against Everton, in which Astle scored the winning goal.

Our sofa team couldn't separate these two sides, predicting a score draw between two teams that have struggled to win all season, but will be fighting for their lives today.

History favours West Brom in this fixture, with the Baggies winning the reverse fixture this season courtesy of an Esteban Cambiasso own goal. The Foxes last victory over today's opponents came back in 2008 when both teams were playing in the Championship.

KICKOFF: Leicester get the match underway, kicking from right to left in the first period. Leonardo Ulloa is the target man for them this afternoon, playing off David Nugent.

It's a full house here at The Hawthornes and both sets of supporters are in fine voice. West Brom are first to threaten as Darren Fletcher races towards goal and goes down on the edge of the box under the challenge of Vardy. The referee saw nothing wrong with the challenge, though.

CHANCE! West Brom continue on the front foot as Craig Gardner finds space wide on the right and wins a free kick after drawing a foul from Jefferey Schlupp. Gardner takes the free kick himself and an unmarked Joleon Lescott puts a free header over the bar. The former Everton man should have made the goalkeeper work there!

West Brom take the lead from the first corner of the match! Brunt plays in an inch-perfect cross and Fletcher met it with a flicked header. Esteban Cambiasso through he'd hacked that one off the line, but goal-line technology proved him wrong and the goal will stand. Game on!

The Hawthornes is bouncing and West Brom appear to be buoyed by that goal. Leicester struggle to get the ball out of their own half, and when they finally do, play is stopped for a foul on Lescott by Ulloa.

There's a real battle going on between Lescott and Ulloa. Leicester have just won their first corner as a ball from Robert Huth towards the Argentine is deflected behind off the West Brom defender. The resulting corner ricochets behind off Ulloa for a goalkick.

Half-chance for West Brom as Brunt wins a throw-in in the final third and quickly plays the ball to Saido Berahino. The striker goes for goal from outside the area, but his shot is easily gathered by Kasper Schmeichel between the Foxes sticks.

Leicester are level through David Nugent. Cambiasso plays a free kick long and Ulloa nods the ball on for his strike partner, who gets the better of Lescott and places a strike beyond Boaz Myhill into the bottom corner!

This game looks like it could go either way as both defences look prone to slip-ups. Lescott was at fault for Leicester's equaliser. His positioning was poor and he should have done more to hold off Nugent.

Nugent gets another sight of goal as he gains possession in the area. He gets off a shot but it drifts well wide of the mark. That was wasteful from the striker as he had Cambiasso waiting in the centre for a square pass.

It's a goal rush here at The Hawthornes as Craig Gardner fires the Baggies back in front. Chris Brunt supplied the cross from the right and Gardner met it with a volley that found its way beyond Schmeichel with the aid of a deflection off Wes Morgan.

Leicester were not happy about that goal as they believe the ball drifted out of play for a throw-in during the build-up, but you have to say the Baggies deserve to be in front based on the balance of play.

Jamie Vardy is on the ground after a clash with Brown Ideye. He is receiving treatment on the pitch after what was a nasty collision, but looks as though he will be okay to continue.

Leicester win a free kick in a good position, which Marc Albrighton whips into the area. The ball ends up back at the midfielder's feet and he wins a corner and takes it himself. His cross deflects over the bar off Lescott for a corner and West Brom clear the danger this time.

The Foxes threaten from another free kick, this one from wide on the left. Albrighton takes again but Myhill punches it clear at his far post. The West Brom keeper got plenty on that and managed to snuff out the attack.

Leicester are enjoying a good spell of pressure as Jamie Vardy races clear along the left flank and tangles with Craig Dawson. The Baggies defender holds him off but the Foxes quickly regain possession, only for the move to break down as Ulloa drifts into an offside position.

CHANCE! The visitors miss a big opportunity to draw level as Albrighton plays a good ball into the box, which Nugent flicks onto Ulloa. The Argentine's first touch is poor and his strike ends up flying over the bar. He should have hit the target from there as he was just yards out!

There will be two minutes of stoppage time to play here.

There's no action to speak of during stoppage time and the two sides head into the break with West Brom leading 2-1. The scoreline is a fair reflection of the first half, but Leicester look more than capable of getting back into this one.

Defenders were at fault for all three of our goals this afternoon, so it's fair to say that there could be a few more goals in this one. I've been particularly impressed with Albrighton for Leicester, whose creative play has carved out plenty of opportunities for Ulloa and Nugent.

BENCH WATCH: Leicester have attacking options among their substitutes, with Riyad Mahrez and Andrej Kramaric on the bench, but Ulloa and Nugent have proved effective so far. I expect West Brom will throw on an extra defender at some point, with Andre Wisdom, Jonas Olsson, and Chris Baird all in reserve.

KICKOFF: The second period is now under way and Leicester have made a change, throwing on Marcin Wasilewski for Ritchie de Laet.

CHANCE! Leicester claim the first attack of the second period as Schlupp beats two defenders and picks out Vardy, whose shot is blocked in front of goal. The rebound could have gone anywhere but the West Brom defence quickly clears its lines.

More pressure from the visitors as the ever-dangerous Albrighton floats a free kick into the box and Morgan meets it with a header, which needs only a comfortable save from Boaz Myhill.

BOOKINGS: both sides have had a man cautioned as Craig Gardner became the first in the book for a foul on Jeff Schlupp. Albrighton is shown a yellow moments later for a late tackle on James Morrison.

West Brom are preparing to make a change as they have found themselves under the cosh in the opening stages of this second half. Former Everton striker Victor Anichebe is getting ready to join the fray.

Leicester stage another attack as Albrighton plays a ball into the centre of the box that Brunt heads clear. Saido Berahino gets a sight of goal at the other end, but he directs a tame strike straight at Kasper Schmeichel. Poor decision making from the forward, who could have picked out Craig Gardner in a good position.

SUBSTITUTIONS: Victor Anichebe has replaced Ideye for the hosts, while Leicester have refreshed their midfield with the introduction of Andy King for Matthew James.

BOOKING! Fletcher has gone into the book for a dangerous tackle in Jeff Schlupp. He was late there and missed the ball, so the West Brom man cannot have any complaints.

SUBSTITUTION: Leicester have now used all three of their substitutions as Riyad Mahrez comes on to replace Ulloa in a like-for-like swap. That's a bold move by Nigel Pearson!

Good goalkeeping from Boaz Myhill, who dives at full stretch to claim a dangerous cross by Jefferey Schlupp. The Leicester man did well to keep the ball in, but Myhill's confident claim snuffed out the danger.

The home crowd are growing restless here as their side are being dominated by Leicester. Tony Pulis is preparing to throw on another defender, with Jonas Olsson warming up.

SUBSTITUTION: Craig Gardner makes way for Olsson and West Brom will see out this game with three centre-halfs.

West Brom apply some pressure of their own as Wes Morgan concedes a corner and Olsson gets his head to the resulting cross, putting it wide. Moments earlier, Huth went into the book for upending Victor Anichebe.

Leicester are asking all of the questions here, but West Brom are holding on in there. Cambiasso plays in a corner that deflects behind off Wes Morgan for a Baggies goalkick.

West Brom have tried to hang on in there, but it hasn't worked! Robert Huth heads Leicester level from close range after Nugent and Wasilewski both get their head to a corner in quick succession. The Baggies failed to clear the danger, and Huth rose highest to guide the ball beyond Myhill and level the match!

Leicester don't look satisfied with 2-2! They are keeping the Baggies on the ropes as Nugent almost picks out Vardy inside the box, but his pass is intercepted and the danger is cleared.

SUBSTITUTION: A final throw of the dice by Pulis sees Morrison replaced by Stephane Sessegnon. Just five minutes of normal time remain at The Hawthornes.

More confident goalkeeping from Myhill prevents Leicester from snatching another at the death as the Baggies stopper does well to punch clear another cross from Nugent. Nervy moments for the home side as this match reaches its conclusion!

There will be four additional minutes to play, and the Leicester fans look the happier about that.

Oh my word! Leicester might just have stolen maximum points at the death, and their third goal was the best of the bunch! It was a blistering counter-attack that created the opportunity for Jamie Vardy, allowing the midfielder to give Gareth McAuley the slip and power a low strike into the bottom corner. Superb finish!

West Brom have a final chance to rescue a point as they win a free kick in a dangerous position but Saido Berahino, who has been poor all afternoon, shoots straight at Schmeichel. There are a few boos from the home supporters.

Leicester win back-to-back Premier League games for the first time this season by turning this match on its head in the second period. That victory will no doubt fill them with belief in their relegation scrap, and it means that West Brom are by no means safe themselves.
