West Bromwich Albion head coach Alan Pardew claims that his side are showing enough "ambition", despite failing to score in their last three matches.

West Bromwich Albion head coach Alan Pardew has insisted that his side are showing enough "ambition" to score goals in the Premier League.

Since his arrival, Pardew has guided the Baggies to two points from three matches with draws coming against Crystal Palace and Liverpool respectively, but the West Midlands outfit are yet to score since Pardew replaced caretaker boss Gary Megson.

However, ahead of the trip to Old Trafford to play Manchester United, Pardew has suggested that he has been encouraged by his team's performances.

The 56-year-old told reporters: "It was a great point at Anfield. We had two or three chances to win it too. Not many teams will keep a clean sheet against Liverpool.

"We've shown ambition. It's not like we've parked the bus. We've tried to get at teams and I think we did a good job of that at Liverpool. We can take encouragement from that going into Sunday's game."

West Brom make the journey to the North-West having not won any of their last 15 matches in the top flight.
