West Brom lose McManaman to injury

West Bromwich Albion wideman Callum McManaman has been ruled out for up to six weeks with ankle ligament damage.

Baggies head coach Tony Pulis confirmed the news at a pre-match press conference this morning ahead of tomorrow's FA Cup fourth-round tie against Peterborough United.

Former Wigan Athletic winger McManaman, who came on for his 11th Premier League appearance of the season in last weekend's goalless draw with Aston Villa, will not be available until March at the earliest.

Pulis, meanwhile, also confirmed reports linking the Baggies with a loan deal to bring Brazilian midfielder Sandro from Queens Park Rangers for the rest of the season.
