Wednesday's Championship predictions including Cardiff vs. QPR

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's Championship matches, including Cardiff vs. QPR.

Blackburn vs. Fulham (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Fulham square off against Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday evening looking to extend their winning streak in the Championship to five matches.

However, their hosts have also posted back-to-back wins, results which have moved Tony Mowbray's side up to seventh position in the standings.

We say: Blackburn Rovers 1-3 Fulham

Blackburn will fancy their chances of causing an upset on Wednesday, particularly with the pressure off to a certain extent. However, we simply cannot back against Fulham right now, leaving us to predict a convincing win for the Cottagers.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Blackpool vs. Stoke (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Blackpool play host to Stoke City on Wednesday evening looking for the victory which will keep the Seasiders in the top six of the Championship standings.

While the home side are on an upward trajectory, the same cannot be said of their opponents who are without a victory in four outings.

We say: Blackpool 2-1 Stoke City

At some stage, hope will turn into expectation for Blackpool if they continue on their current path. Nevertheless, that will not be on Wednesday night, and we are backing Blackpool to add another victory to their collection.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Barnsley vs. Derby (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

The Championship's bottom two clubs will face each other on Wednesday night as managerless Barnsley welcome Derby County to Oakwell.

Wayne Rooney's side are hoping to end a run of five matches without a win, while the Tykes are seeking their first league victory since August 14.

We say: Barnsley 0-2 Derby County

Barnsley have conceded at least twice in three straight Championship matches and have kept just two clean sheets all season. The Rams, meanwhile, have looked much stronger in defence, conceding just 13 times which is only bettered by league leaders Bournemouth so far this campaign.

A closely-fought contest is set to be played out at Oakwell; however, we can see the Rams coming away with all three points, condemning the hosts to yet another defeat.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Cardiff vs. QPR (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Cardiff City will be looking to build on their remarkable comeback at Stoke City when they play host to Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday evening.

The Bluebirds recovered from three goals down in the space of five minutes to draw 3-3 on Saturday, but they are still in relegation trouble ahead of the visit of eighth-place QPR.

We say: Cardiff City 1-1 Queens Park Rangers

Both teams are seeking a victory on Wednesday for different reasons, with Cardiff aiming to move clear of the relegation zone and QPR in touching distance of the playoffs.

Cardiff have lost five in a row at home, while QPR have lost four on the spin on their travels, so this may be a case of the sides cancelling each other out in a low-scoring draw.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Bournemouth vs. Preston (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Bournemouth will be looking to prolong their record-breaking start to the Championship season when they host Preston North End on Wednesday evening.

The Cherries have yet to lose a game this campaign and are top of the division, while Preston are 19 points worse off in 19th after a slow start.

We say: Bournemouth 2-0 Preston North End

Preston have a good record in this fixture, with their most recent loss to Bournemouth coming nine years ago, but everything else points to a routine home victory.

The Cherries have won five games in a row and are unbeaten in 15 league games this term, whereas North End are winless on their travels, making an upset very unlikely.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

West Brom vs. Hull City (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

West Bromwich Albion head into Wednesday's fixture with Hull City looking to keep pace with the top two in the Championship standings.

At a time when the Baggies are four points adrift of the automatic promotion places, Hull are three points below safety at the other end of the table.

We say: West Bromwich Albion 3-0 Hull City

While we do not necessarily expect this game to be one-way traffic, it would come as a surprise if Hull got on the scoresheet. With that in mind, we expect West Brom to run out comfortable winners courtesy of a couple of goals during the final quarter.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
