Aaron Hunt insists that he wants to extend his current contract at Werder Bremen but admits that he will take his time to do so.

Werder Bremen midfielder Aaron Hunt has revealed that he is in "no hurry" to sign a new contract with the German club.

The 26-year-old's current deal with the Bundesliga outfit runs out in June 2014.

"I am in no hurry," he told Syker Kreiszeitung. "That I am attached to the club is no secret. That's why I can imagine extending my contract. "

Hunt has been at Bremen since the age of 14.
