Ciprian Marica starts for Schalke against Werder Bremen, who will have Nils Petersen leading their attack.

Ciprian Marica has been included in Schalke's starting lineup for their Bundesliga game against Werder Bremen away from home this afternoon.

The Romania international will be deployed as a lone striker today, with Jefferson Farfan and Julian Draxler playing in a support role.

Nils Petersen continues to lead the attack for Bremen, who will have Kevin De Bruyne, Marko Arnautovic, Eljero Elia, Aaron Hunt and Tom Trybull in midfield.
