Werder Bremen, Eintracht Frankfurt share points

Werder Bremen are held at home by Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.

Werder Bremen and Eintracht Frankfurt have drawn 1-1 in the Bundesliga thanks to a Srdjan Lakic equaliser early in the second half.

The match started brightly with Nils Petersen for Bremen and Karim Matmour for the visitors going close in the opening five minutes.

It carried on in an end-to-end fashion before Kevin de Bruyne finally broke the deadlock, finishing neatly after being sent through by Philipp Bargfrede.

De Bruyne tried his luck from just outside the box with 10 minutes of the half remaining, but there were no more goals before the break.

Early in the second half the visitors got level through Lakic, who finished from close range after a Matmour cutback.

Despite chances at both ends, the two sides had to settle for a point in a 1-1 draw.
