Swansea City make Troy Deeney bid?

Swansea City have reportedly made a bid of more than £5m for Watford striker Troy Deeney.

The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League after scoring 25 goals in the Championship last season.

Swansea have now tested Watford's resolve with a multi-million pound offer for the forward, according to Sky Sports News.

Aston Villa and Newcastle United are also understood to be monitoring the forward.
