Report: Premier League clubs monitor Troy Deeney

A number of Premier League clubs are reportedly interested in signing Watford striker Troy Deeney this summer.

The 25-year-old, who scored 20 goals for the Championship outfit last season, opened his account for the season against Birmingham City on Saturday.

His form over the last 12 months has not gone unnoticed, however, with a number of Premier League sides monitoring his development, according to Sky Sports News.

As yet, it is unclear whether Watford would be prepared to sell the forward, who began his youth career at Aston Villa.
