Report: Celtic to move for Watford's Ikechi Anya

Celtic apparently hope to make Watford's Scotland winger Ikechi Anya their major summer signing.

The 27-year-old is Premier League bound with the Hornets, but The Mirror claims that Ronny Deila is confident of tempting him North of the border.

The Scottish Champions are believed to be preparing a £4m bid for Anya, who has only one year left on his contract at Vicarage Road.

Anya made 35 appearances for Watford in the Championship this season, but was not a regular starter during the second half of the campaign.

The Glasgow native, who has 13 international caps, joined Watford permanently in 2013 after a successful loan spell from Spanish side Cadiz.
