Watford romp to friendly win over SV Feldkirchen

Watford have eased to a 7-0 friendly win over SV Feldkirchen in Austria.

The Championship club opened the scoring on 16 minutes when Almen Abdi converted from close range before Matej Vydra's cross was deflected in three minutes later for 2-0.

Vydra then made it 3-0 with 24 minutes played thanks to a powerful finish that found the bottom corner.

A dominant first half for the visitors was rounded off with three minutes remaining when Sean Murray calmly slotted home.

The Hornets extended their advantage on 57 minutes thanks to substitute Lewis McGugan's curled effort, while Fernando Forestieri pounced just 60 seconds later for his side's sixth goal of the evening.

The rout was completed seven minutes from time as Mathias Ranegie was picked out by Forestieri before firing past the goalkeeper.
