Watford have progressed to the fourth round of the FA Cup with a comfortable victory over Bradford at Vicarage Road.
Goals from Deeney, Sordell and two from Forsythe ensured that the Hornets avoided a shock against the League Two side.
The match began at break-neck speed, with two goals inside the first ten minutes. Watford's Marvin Sordell made a break down the wing after just three minutes before crossing the ball for Troy Deeney, who made no mistake from six yards out.
However, the lead didn't last long as the Bantams rallied and levelled the sides just five minutes later.
A Ricky Ravenhill effort was blocked, with the rebound falling to James Hansen, who lashed it in with venom to make it 1-1.
Watford regained control of the match after the equaliser, repeatedly testing the Bradford goalkeeper.
The pressure finally paid off five minutes before the break as Sordell escaped a defender before shooting low past McLaughlin to restore Watford's lead going into half time.
Any hope of a Bradford comeback was essentially ended by two goals in three minutes of the second half.
Craig Forsyth got both of them, the first being bundled over the line in the 56th minute, while three minutes later he struck a first time shot past McLoughlin's despairing dive to give Watford a three-goal lead.
Bradford got a consolation goal late on through Nahki Wells to complete the scoring.
