Watford's Slavisa Jokanovic named Championship Manager of the Month

Slavisa Jokanovic picks up the Championship Manager of the Month gong after leading Watford into the Premier League.

Slavisa Jokanovic has picked up the Championship Manager of the Month award for a memorable April that saw him guide Watford to Premier League promotion.

The 2-2 draw at Derby County at the start of April proved the only blemish in an otherwise flawless month, with Jokanovic's side embarking on a five-game winning streak since.

Their 2-0 win at Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend was the victory that ultimately sealed their passage into the top flight after an eight-year absence.

Jokanovic, who was appointed at Vicarage Road in October, has won 21 Championship outings since.
