Adam Matthews to return for Wales?

Wales boss Chris Coleman has suggested that Celtic defender Adam Matthews could start in Tuesday's World Cup qualification clash against Croatia.

The 20-year-old missed the 2-1 defeat to Scotland with an ankle problem and had been expected to miss Tuesday's clash.

However, the defender travelled with the squad to Osijek and could be in line for a start against the favourites for Group A.

"Adam is with us and we'll watch him carefully today and tomorrow," Coleman told reporters.

Matthews has made nine appearances for his country.
