Chris Coleman favourite to succeed Gary Speed

Welsh FA ready to announce new manager

The Welsh Football Association have called a press conference for tomorrow afternoon where they are expected to confirm that Chris Coleman is the new manager of the national team.

Coleman will succeed Gary Speed, who took his own life at his home in November.

The 41-year-old is out of work having recently quit his job with Greek second division side Larissa due to financial problems.

He has previously managed Fulham, Real Sociedad and Coventry City.
