Craig Bellamy unsure over Wales future

Craig Bellamy says that he cannot commit to playing for Wales because of fitness issues.

Craig Bellamy has said that he cannot commit himself to playing for Wales because of his fitness issues.

The 33-year-old striker has missed Wales's last four 2014 World Cup qualifiers due to injury.

"If I have something to offer the [Wales] team, I'll have a serious look at it," BBC Sport quotes Bellamy as saying.

"But that's a number of weeks away, I do concentrate week by week. I have Ipswich [with Cardiff on Saturday] and the honest truth is I don't even know if I'm playing next week.

"There's no point looking further than that. Ipswich is the main target and we'll just have to push on from there."

Bellamy has been capped 70 times by Wales, scoring 19 goals.
