Wales midfielder Joe Ledley out of Israel qualifier

Crystal Palace midfielder Joe Ledley is out of Wales's crucial qualifier against Israel tomorrow night.

Joe Ledley has been ruled out of Wales's Euro 2016 qualifier against Israel tomorrow night.

The midfielder was only fit enough to make the bench against Cyprus on Thursday and he has failed to recover from a hamstring injury in time.

Ledley has represented his nation on 57 occasions but will miss what could be Wales's biggest fixture since the 1950s, as a victory would guarantee qualification to the European Championships in France next year.

David Vaughan has been called up to the Wales squad as cover.
