Report: Valencia keen on James Milner

Valencia have reportedly joined Liverpool in the race to sign soon-to-be out-of-contract Manchester City winger James Milner.

The Reds are said to be in pole position to sign the 29-year-old, whose existing deal at Eastlands will expire in the summer.

City boss Manuel Pellegrini recently said that Milner was keen to earn an extension but, according to The Mirror, Los Che will test his resolve by putting a pre-contract agreement on the table this month.

Milner has started 18 games for the Sky Blues this season.
