Shkodran Mustafi: 'Valencia must not fear anyone in La Liga'

Shkodran Mustafi believes that Valencia do not need to fear anyone ahead of the new season.

Shkodran Mustafi has insisted that there is no need for Valencia to fear any team in La Liga ahead of the new season.

The German completed his move to the club from Sampdoria earlier this week, and he has immediately set his sights on upsetting the biggest teams in Spain with his new side.

"Despite all the big teams in La Liga, Valencia should not hide," Mustafi told reporters. "This is a great team and the team is capable of beating any other side. We must fight and not hide.

"I will try to contribute my strengths and qualities to help the team."

Valencia start their campaign against Sevilla on August 23.
