Valencia midfielder Sofiane Feghouli has called on his side to build on their 3-2 win over Barcelona at the Camp Nou on Saturday.

The Spanish outfit currently sit in eighth position in La Liga, 15 points off the top four.

"Our place is higher up, Valencia cannot be seventh and we'll have to fight until the end. We host Betis next, we have to look after ourselves and climb up La Liga," he told reporters.

"We have back up our last result because if we don't, the win at Barcelona will have been worthless. There's no margin for error if we want to be amongst the European places.

"We have to win each game and that must be our winning mentality."

Valencia return to league action at home to Real Betis at the weekend.
