Valencia boss Nuno has insisted that his side still have a lot of work to do if they are to finish in the top four in La Liga this season.
As it stands, Los Che lead fifth-placed Sevilla by three points, but they face a difficult trip to Real Madrid this weekend.
Both Sevilla and Valencia are in fine form and Nuno believes that the race could go right to the wire.
"That shows the competitiveness there is in this league. Last year Champions League was earned with 70 points and this year it will take more than that," Nuno told AS.
"We have 72 and we want more. We've grown a lot and achieved many things but we want to reach the end with our objective.
"There's three teams [after third place]. The competition will be decided at the end of the season. Nothing is secured but we can't ignore we have the chance to go a step closer."
Last season, Athletic Bilbao finished fourth in La Liga on 70 points.
