Tim Howard returns to USA squad

Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard has returned to the USA squad for the first time since last year's World Cup in Brazil.

The 36-year-old took a year-long sabbatical in order to spend time with his family, but has now been included in Jurgen Klinsmann's squad for games against Peru and Brazil.

There are also returns for Geoff Cameron, Matt Besler and Jermaine Jones, while Clint Dempsey is named in the 23-man party.

The USA will take on Peru in Washington on September 4 and Brazil in Massachusetts four days later.
