Albert Riera moves to Udinese

Former Spain international Albert Riera has joined Italian side Udinese on a short-term deal.

The experienced winger terminated his contract with Galatasaray last week and will now spend the remainder of the season in Serie A with Udinese.

The Italian outfit announced the signing of the 31-year-old on their official website on Monday, with the midfielder also named in the squad for Thursday's league clash with Inter Milan.

Riera gained 16 caps for his country between 2007 and 2009, scoring four times in the process.
