Team News: Aaron Hughes starts for Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland defender Aaron Hughes is poised to win his 88th cap having being named in the starting lineup for the friendly with Turkey tonight.

The 34-year-old veteran, who previously retired from international duty, will move to within 12 appearances of becoming his nation's first outfield player to earn a century of caps for his country.

Elsewhere, manager Michael O'Neill has been forced to field a number of fringe players for the trip to Adana, having seen many of his selections withdraw from the squad.

Lee Hodson and Oliver Norwood come into the fold for O'Neill's first game in charge since renewing his deal as coach, while New York Red Bulls midfielder Jonny Steele could make his international debut after being named on the bench.
