Lille are held to 1-1 draw by Troyes away from home in Ligue 1 despite taking the lead in the first half.

Lille have been held to a 1-1 draw by Troyes away from home in Ligue 1.

Troyes could have taken the lead after just 10 minutes had Fabien Camus's right-footed shot from close range not hit the right post.

Thereafter Lille began to assert their supremacy, with Dimitri Payet coming close twice in the space of a minute and then Marvin Martin watching his attempt get saved in the 29th minute.

The visitors eventually went ahead in the 38th minute when Payet found the target with a right-footed shot from outside the Troyes penalty area.

Lille continued their domination of chances in the second half, with Nolan Roux trying their luck but in vain.

Mounir Obbadi, Fabien Camus and Jean-Christophe Bahebeck had chances for Troyes but they failed to take them.

The hosts eventually equalised in the 88th minute through Sebastien Grax and earned themselves a point.
