Ronnie Moore unsure of loan move

Tranmere Rovers boss Ronnie Moore has admitted that he is unsure whether he will bring in a goalkeeper on loan before their season opener against Walsall this weekend.

Owain Fon Williams is currently struggling with injury, but Moore has insisted that he will give the keeper every chance to recover.

"He's improving. I spoke to him on Sunday and it has certainly got better," Moore told the club's official website.

"We have got the opportunity to bring someone in, we've got someone lined up to do that.

"But I'm not going to bring him in if Fonners is going to be okay. We'll wait and see and I'll know more on Tuesday."

Tranmere finished 11th in League One last season.
