Moore charged with misconduct

Tranmere Rovers boss Ronnie Moore has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association for alleged multiple breaches of betting rules.

Moore was suspended by Tranmere last month following claims that he had broken rules by betting on a competition that the team was involved in.

The 61-year-old has until April 8 to respond to the charge.

Moore has an 18-year association with Tranmere as both a player and manager.
