Zlatan Ibrahimovic to play against England following thigh strain

Ibrahimovic to start despite injury fear

Sweden and AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to receive a spot in Erik Hamren's starting lineup against England tonight, despite fears of an injury.

There were slight concerns over the fitness of the 30-year-old, who has been suffering with a sore thigh.

Despite these initial concerns, it is understood that the forward will lead the line for the Swedes tonight in Group D's second round of Euro 2012 matches.

Meanwhile, reports have claimed that Roy Hodgson will start with Liverpool frontman Andy Carroll this evening.
