Swansea City interested in Andros Townsend loan?

Swansea City are reportedly interested in a loan move for England international Andros Townsend in January.

The 24-year-old is believed to be keen on a move away from Tottenham Hotspur, and according to the South Wales Evening Post, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is ready to allow Townsend to leave.

The Welsh club were linked with the winger in the summer but it is suggested that they may face competition from Newcastle United for his services.

Townsend has made seven appearances for Spurs this season in all competitions but has not started a Premier League game this campaign.
