Report: Swansea City line up £4m Steven Fletcher move

A report suggests that Swansea City are ready to launch a bid of £4m to sign striker Steven Fletcher from Sunderland.

Swansea City are lining up a £4m bid for Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher, according to a report.

The Scotland international joined the Black Cats for £12m from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2012, but has struggled to find the net in his past two campaigns on Wearside.

Garry Monk has targeted a move for the 28-year-old whose contract runs out at the end of next season, leading the Swans to believe that they can secure his signature for £4m, reports The Mirror.

Fletcher scored five goals in 29 Premier League appearances for the Black Cats last term.
