Swansea City register an interest in signing Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis, according to reports.

Lyon forward Bafetimbi Gomis could receive an offer from Swansea City to move to the Premier League, according to reports.

Swansea relied on the goals of Michu last season after the attacking midfielder reverted to a centre-forward role for the majority of the campaign.

However, according to reports, Swansea boss Michael Laudrup is keen to bolster his forward line with the signing of Gomis.

Lyon are ready to offload the French international as they contend with financial problems, while the striker only has 12 months left on his contract.
