Feyenoord chase Swansea City target

Swansea City transfer target John Goossens nears a move to Feyenoord.

Swansea City transfer target John Goossens is interesting Dutch club Feyenoord, according to technical director Martin van Geel.

The 23-year-old, who is out of contract with NEC in the summer, has been courted by the Swans over the past few months.

However, it now appears that Feyenoord have stolen a march on other suitors.

"He can play all positions on the left. We would like to have him," Van Geel told AD. "He's still young but already very experienced in the league.

"He can also take a fantastic free-kick."

Goossens has made two appearances for the Dutch Under-21 national side.
