Burnley eyeing deals for Swansea City duo?

Burnley are reportedly keen on signing both defender Alfie Mawson and midfielder Sam Clucas from Swansea City this summer.

Burnley have reportedly indicated that they want to sign both Alfie Mawson and Sam Clucas from Swansea City.

Clarets boss Sean Dyche is yet to make a first-team signing this summer but has previously suggested that he expects to break the club's transfer record before the end of the window.

According to the Daily Mail, Burnley are keen to determine the fee that Swansea would accept for both Mawson and Clucas, who are expected to leave the Liberty Stadium.

Clucas has been frequently linked with a switch to Turf Moor, but it appears that Dyche is now also looking to sign centre-back Mawson having been left frustrated in his pursuit of West Bromwich Albion's Craig Dawson.

Mawson and Clucas have two and three years remaining on their respective deals but Swansea may be prepared to cash in on the pair after relegation to the Championship.
